If I am driving, where should I park, and can I access my vehicle during the event?
If you are driving to the event, take advantage of the valet parking included in your symposium experience. You may access your vehicle during the event by visiting the resort valets, who can either bring your car or direct you to it.
If I am flying, how will I get to and from the resort?
If you are flying, Credent will provide a shuttle service to and from the airport. If you haven’t already, please send us your flight information so we can pick you up and drop you off at the proper times.
What time is check-in on May 27th?
Hotel check-in starts at 4PM EDT on May 27. Early check-in can be requested, but it cannot be guaranteed. If you do arrive early, you will be able to use the facilities. At check-in, the hotel will request your ID and personal credit card (for incidentals). You will not need a booking confirmation number.
Where do I go after I check in?
After you check in with the hotel and settle into your room, find our event registration table in the Palms Ballroom Foyer (by the doors to the Palms Terrace). We will welcome you and provide additional materials at that time. Opening remarks start at 5:30 PM on the Palms Terrace & Lawn. Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM.
What time is checkout on May 29th?
Hotel checkout is at 11:00 AM EDT on Friday, May 29. Please reach out if you need later accommodations.
What meals will be served?
Meals are covered as a part of your symposium experience. Our welcome dinner on Wednesday, May 27, will have a variety of options. Breakfast will be served on Thursday, May 28, and we will have bagels and coffee at our morning workshop on Friday, May 29. Lunch on May 28 is a variety of sandwiches and sides. For dinner on May 28, reference your personalized menu card for your preselected choice. Drinks and snacks will be available throughout the event.
What are the May 28th afternoon activities?
Guests chose to participate in one of the following: the Botanical Garden Tour with Sip & Paint, the Sailing & Shelling Tour, or the Calusa Catamaran Cruise. Please reference the back of your name tag for your activity details.
Is Wi-Fi available?

What is the JW Marriott’s dress code?
The JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort generally follows a resort casual dress code, with some restaurants opting for smart casual attire.
